Sliding Scale Coaching – Income-Based Rates

The Sliding Scale Coaching Policy is designed to make affordable coaching services more accessible to individuals who may be unable to afford the standard rate due to financial constraints. This policy allows Coaching360x to prioritize clients needing income-based coaching rates in and outside Torrance while maintaining a sustainable practice. 

A quick note on dignity and respect:
Applying for sliding scale coaching does not affect the quality of care, attention, or respect you receive. All clients are held to the same standards of commitment, confidentiality, and professionalism. 

What sliding scale coaching is:
• A temporary, income-based adjustment
• A structured commitment focused on progress

What it is not:
• Emergency or crisis support
• Open-ended or indefinite pricing
• A replacement for therapy or medical care

Criteria and income-based coaching rates determination for clients to qualify for the sliding scale coaching:

• Low Rate: Significant financial hardship (e.g., unemployed, underemployed, or students).
• Moderate Rate: Income of $2,500+ a month (e.g., part-time workers or those on a tighter budget).
• Standard Rate: Income of $4,000+ a month. 

Special Circumstances: Individuals facing significant financial hardship (e.g., medical expenses, caregiving responsibilities) may apply for consideration. 

This policy applies to local Torrance and online clients.

This option is best for individuals who:
• Are motivated to engage in coaching consistently
• Are experiencing temporary financial constraints
• Value structure, accountability, and follow-through 

A limited number of sliding scale coaching spots will be available to ensure that Coaching360x can provide quality service to all clients. Clients are encouraged to commit to a minimum of 6 sessions to ensure that the support is beneficial and to maintain continuity in the coaching process. 

Why a minimum commitment matters:
Sustainable change requires continuity. A minimum commitment ensures we can build momentum, apply insights, and avoid surface-level work. 

Step 1: If you qualify income-based coaching rates on the eligibility criteria above. 

Prepare a draft e-mail with the below requirements: 

• Proof of income (e.g., recent pay stubs, tax returns) 
• Brief explanation of your financial situation and special circumstances (e.g., medical expenses, caregiving responsibilities)
• Explain how your employment status creates the need affordable coaching services (e.g., full-time, part-time, underemployed, unemployed, or student)
• Are you located in Torrance, California? If not, where are you located?

Step 2: Submit your e-mail and any supporting documentation  to hugo@coaching360x.com

Step 3: Sliding scale coaching applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and clients will be notified of their status within two weeks (usually sooner). 

If you haven’t heard back within 14 days, it simply means all sliding scale spots are currently filled. 

If sliding scale isn’t available right now:
You’re still welcome to begin with a 30-Minute Strategy Call ($20) to explore next steps, referrals, or future availability. 

If you qualify for income-based coaching rates based on the criteria above, there are 2 spots. Each spot is limited to 11 coaching sessions at the sliding scale rate, which allows new clients to receive affordable coaching services. Clients who qualify for the sliding scale coaching will be added to a waitlist if all spots are filled.

• Clients on the waitlist will be contacted when an opening becomes available or if a new sliding scale spot opens up. 
• Spots can be available in Torrance Office or online.

Sliding scale availability is reviewed periodically to support community access while maintaining a sustainable coaching practice. 

Your application information on all sliding scale coaching will be kept confidential and used solely to determine eligibility for income-based coaching rates in the Torrance office or online. 

Coaching360x reserves the right to modify the income-based coaching rates of this sliding scale coaching waitlist policy at any time. Clients in Torrance and online will be notified of any changes to any affordable coaching services in advance.
